Yes, that State of Indecision is strolling toward Decided and Finished. Yesterday I finished up my lime and magenta tree quilt (now to be known as The Moon Is Sleeping) and today I put together the top for my White Hot quilt.
This would not have been possible without a consultation from my most stalwart constructive critic, my daughter Deb. She always gives me the best advice and helps me to quiet my inner misgivings. We don’t always agree, of course, but those discussions allow me to end up with better designs. I am so thankful to have her…I should probably label some of these quilts as collaborative efforts!
Somewhere within this cropped snapshot will be my White Hot Sun.
Yes, the strippy fabric is not on the straight and level…intentionally. There will be rays and lines of quilting and beads and the only real straight and level part will be the black and white stripes and the edges.
Yes, my state is moving and it’s to a much more positive place. Can’t wait to get started on that quilting and beading now!
