Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!
And, of course, dire warnings about posting other people’s work without permission, so I’m going to give you a slice of the stuff I liked best.
Suffice it to say, major quilt shows are well worth attending for the sheer beauty and inspiration they bring. And the vendors…but that’s tomorrow’s job!
I also spent a lot of time meeting some wonderful people. It’s so much fun being a quilt tourist without teaching responsibilities. You can chat and admire to your heart’s content without worrying about the clock. This is great…highly recommended.
You still have time…hurry!

Our big quilt show is coming up next month.I have a few things entered and taking a class from Judy Coates Perez. Now that is what I call excitement.
Oh, yeah–the woman who says she’s really not a quilter, but a painter! Good for you and you will enjoy Judy’s class, I am sure.
Judy has an actual bed quilt on her blog this morning! I was shocked!
I would imagine that would shock most followers!
I’m totally completely jealous-enjoy! Thank you for the peek at the lovely work.
Agreed!
This was a great show. Glad it will be in Grand Rapids for at least 2 more years!
Best selection of quilts I’ve seen at a national show in three years. And the Tentmakers of Cairo exhibit—-wow! I had a great time!
It was wonderful to see so many great quilts!
And to see everybody I know in GR, even when I haven’t seen them at home in months!
I can relate to that!
