Giveaway for 500 Posts!

Hooray! This is it! Post number 500. It’s not really a milestone to me, because I’m not blogging to outpost someone and I’m certainly not going to stop. It’s just a nice number of posts and a reason for another fabric giveaway.

I’m finding it very enjoyable to re-locate fabric that I am no longer in love with to new homes. This adoption program is a win-win situation for everyone.

S0–500 posts sounds like 5 fabric bundles. Various amounts of fabric, not meant to match each other, just some hunks looking for a new home. Oh, it’s all quilt store cotton, too. Well, it’s going to be 6 packets because that’s what came to the surface to be relocated!

Posted today–winners selected in three days. If you like a particular one let me know in your comment but I’m planning on sending them out randomly. If you can live with those criteria, I’d love to have you comment for a chance to help me out and become a fabric adoptee!

Here’s the fabric:

  3. Thanks for this opportunity. I love the teeny dots with bright colors and the batiks. Those would be my choices if I were to win.

  4. I would love to have #1 to use for the kid’s charity quilts I have been doing, but will take any of them as I also do quilts for the local Women’s shelter.

  5. Congrats on 500 posts. Who knew blogging could be so fun; and now a giveaway. Wow. My husband would never believe I got free fabric and since I told him I wouldn’t be purchasing any more fabric for a while to save money, I better not include myself in this fun giveaway. But I love your posts. Good luck everyone!

  6. I think I need to do this too. Or get much busier quilting than I havr been for the last three months. However that was when I finished my last queen size, so perhaps I can be forgiven.

  14. Kathy, love those fabrics — especially the hand dyes and batiks, but the bright kid’s fabric speaks to me. My guild makes quilts for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite, and that particular fabric is perfect for a child who is gravely ill.
