Storm in the City

That’s the title I’m using for this piece until I can come up with something better. I really like the piece, but not the title. All suggestions would be welcome.

Storm in the City

It’s not as dramatic as some pieces I’ve made, but I never wanted it to be. There is so much detail when you get up close but I’m not sure there is enough to call you closer.

Storm detail

Well, it’s very happy residing on my living room wall right now. It may not venture out into the world beyond a few photos, but I’m quite pleased with it.

  1. At the moment my head is too full and my body is too tired from the happy, happy Thanksgiving time we had with our kids……to suggest an alternative title for your piece but I did want to say I like if very much!!

    1. Isn’t it awesome to be able to spend holidays with our families? It makes everything so much better. And maybe my title isn’t *that* bad…

  2. I like the title, don’t know why you don’t. Here is what I see. You have a great design. it is balanced with positive and negative space. You have both vertical and diagonal balance. This really is a great composition of modern art. Love it. I am jealous.

    1. Thanks–I’m quite happy with the piece and I don’t know either why the title doesn’t seem quite right. Maybe I’m just goofy!
