My heart options are done!

You know, the heart motif is really not my favorite. I kind of went with a few ideas because that beaded piece ran across my easily distracted brain!

The little pink heart needed some framing to finish it off. I added some strips to each side, but it still didn’t have quite enough depth to it. My utility fixer, cording, came to the rescue.

It really does add a lot of depth to the “frame.”

It will be mounted on a black canvas and I’ll call it done. Don’t know if I want to try to have a beading class…

And also because I’m not crazy about hearts in general, but because I already had another, larger one prepped, I made one that has nothing to do with pink or red or Valentine’s!

Do you think it needs any little fringe, hang-y down parts?

That is about all the heart stuff I can handle right now. There are other variations I could explore, but I think it will be with some other motif!

  1. The blue piece is beautiful as is. I think the rows of beading make the statement the hangy-down things would for a single row of beads.

    • The blue piece makes me happy simply because it’s not a red heart! I think shades of turquoise are my favorite part of the blue family. But maybe there’s enough bling without any dangly bits!

    • I think I’ll add some hand stitching to the blue piece before I decide on dangly things. Keeping it simple may be the best bet!
