So many motivators–a simple google search brings up hundreds. Some days I can use EVERY. SINGLE. ONE.
“It always seems impossible until it’s done.” —Nelson Mandela
“You can’t be that kid standing at the top of the waterslide, overthinking it. You have to go down the chute.” —Tina Fey

And sometimes I have my mind made up and change it before I make the first cut. I simply was not happy with any configuration of these leaves that I had previously considered. And this is what I decided to do with the leaves.
Made that first cut and never looked back. Ready for quilting and finishing. And I am ready to move on to some other fabrics. DONE with these!
“Amateurs sit and wait for inspiration, the rest of us just get up and go to work.” —Stephen King
“You may delay, but time will not.” —Benjamin Franklin

“The only way around is through.” —Robert Frost
“The secret of getting things done is to act!” —Dante Alighieri
“The critical ingredient is getting off your butt and doing something. It’s as simple as that. A lot of people have ideas, but there are few who decide to do something about them now.” —Nolan Bushnell
“I don’t wait for moods. You accomplish nothing if you do that. Your mind must know it has got to get down to work.” —Pearl S. Buck
“So what do we do? Anything. Something. So long as we just don’t sit there. If we screw it up, start over. Try something else. If we wait until we’ve satisfied all the uncertainties, it may be too late.” —Lee Iacocca
And it goes much, much faster if you just get it started!!!
