Another weekend of bits of this and that, though this was a thick and chunky weekend. Of course, the highlight for me was a grandson hockey game. Happy they can play again, even if they lost this game. Around that, I put sleeves on these two projects and they are finally finished.

I knitted a scarf for my daughter to give to a friend. It’s thick and warm…

and then I doubled up the same yarn and knit one that was thicker and warmer! Very luxurious.

And while I was using up yarn, I used these thick yarn leftovers to make a super cozy cowl.

Throw in an hour or so for some blocks for a special project

and I was ready to take a little ride through the countryside and go out to lunch with hubby.
So much relaxation is too good to be lawful, but I sure enjoyed it.
Now I’m all ready to think about another stash buster. I’m torn between a two-for-one quickie and an improv that will take a bit more work. We shall see where the fabric leads me.

You’ve wowed me!!

Both quilts look great. Congratulations on them and on your knitting. It will be fun to see the mystery blocks finished into a quilt.

Those blocks are going elsewhere, as part of someone else’s final quilt. But I like them so much, I may have to make some of my own!
