(No real work pictures here–just a little eye candy!)
Well, the Knot Even Quilters met today and we attempted to learn all about packing tape image transfers. We used different magazine, pamphlet and book pages. We tried maps and advertising. Some of it worked well, some was yucky and it was fun to play for a little while. I also found two books on my shelf about image transfer–maybe I should read them!

I don’t have a single picture to show you about today but that’s probaby because I really didn’t like the process or the results. IF I had a specific image for a specific project, I would use this method. It’s super easy, but leaves that shiny packing tape surface. It’s good to learn new techniques, even if you learn that it’s not something you will use on a regular basis!

There is still not much happening in the studio. I have been cleared to start using my wrist as I please, with caution. The therapist was pleased with my sewing day/rest day and even more pleased when I said that I was working in short stints and that was better. However, that also means that you have already seen what I have accomplished in the whole of the last week!
Soooooooo…….heading into the weekend, weather is beautiful, hockey will be played, family lunch will be enjoyed and we may even take a look at what we want to use for Halloween decorations!

It’s fall and my favorite season, so no matter what gets done…or doesn’t…I’ll be enjoying every single day of this time of year!
