As I gazed at the triangle quilt on my design wall, I knew it needed to be bigger. Borders are all well and good, but just throwing strips of fabric around all these triangles was not a solution I was happy with. So, yes, I added a row on each side and along the top of…….triangles. However large it turns out when I get the rows sewn together is going to be totally fine.
I am over triangles for a while.

I like it! I have a mostly neutral with a few pops of color roaming around in my head too. Maybe this is the year it actually sees the light of day?

I’m embracing the negative space right now. Print on print on print is too much, so I’m guessing we all may use a not more neutral for our next quilts.

I think that is a good solution to increase the neutral coloring all around with just an occasional pop of color. If you weren’t done with triangles it could use even one more row around it. I know the feeling, just wanting to end it all.

I’ve used up my variety of coordinating lights and I am NOT making more triangles, but I think if I can put together enough pieces, one more light border will look good!
